Richard Dutu is a Senior Economist at Macroeconomics based in Melbourne. An established economist and coder (Matlab, Mathematica, R), he undertakes dynamic macroeconomic modeling (BARRIE) and consulting. Richard holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris and has held various research and lecturing positions in Australasia and Europe. He is a regular collaborator and visitor at central banks (Federal Reserve, RBA, RBNZ), Think Tanks (The American Institute for Economic Research) with a successful track record of publications (International Economic Review, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking). His research is centered on financial economics, banking and monetary policy. He is Senior Lecturer at Deakin Graduate School of Business. |

Amy Willis is a Senior Analyst in Quantitative Modelling at Macroeconomics based in Canberra. She undertakes quantitative financial analysis and CGE modelling for Macroeconomics. She has completed a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies at the Australian National University, and is currently completing her Honours year in Statistics. She tutors Statistics for the School of Finance and Applied Statistics and previously held the role of Academic Officer at John XXIII College. Amy’s research is centred around statistical and econometric modelling. |

Thomas Fuchs is manager at Macroeconomics and specialises in microeconomics and associated econometric modelling techniques and is based part time in Canberra and Munich. Thomas has worked at the Ifo Institute for Economic Research, Munich. There he worked with teams that advised the OECD, the European Commission and the World Bank on education reform and productivity growth. During 2007 he worked for Econtech in Canberra. Here he undertook a number of modelling studies which analysed the impact of behavioral effects resulting from policy and institutional changes. These include studies for ACCI, DEWR, DHS and Finsia. He has worked for the world's leading pricing advisory business. |

Manager - Quantitative Analysis

Laura Ryan is the Manager of Quantitative Analysis at Macroeconomics based in Canberra. She is responsible for all econometric and statistical analysis of financial markets undertaken by us. She is also a Lecturer at the Australian National University in the school of Finance and Applied Statistics where she has taught masters units in financial statistics, business statistics, and statistics for the life sciences. Laura’s research focus is on Subset Vector Autoregression and model selection techniques in the context of improved forecasting. Previously Laura has worked at Commonwealth Bank as a Quantitative Strategist where she was responsible for the quantitative strategy and research for the CBA fixed income, FOREX and Equities clients. More recently, Laura held the role of Quantitative Manager at AMP Capital Investors. In this role she applied quantitative techniques to price and hedge domestic and international derivative transactions and manage existing funds for the Structured Products Group. |

Director - Budget and Forecasting

Stephen Anthony is the Director of Budget Policy and Forecasting at Macroeconomics based in Canberra. He is a highly experienced budget and macroeconomic policy specialist having worked as a senior policy officer at both the Federal Treasury, and Department of Finance in Canberra where he worked as a team leader in fiscal policy and budget analysis. Earlier in his career he worked briefly for the International Monetary Fund, the Heritage Foundation and Institute for International Economics in Washington, D.C. His research interests include macroeconomic modeling and forecasting and analysis of government budgets and spending programs. Whilst at Macroeconomics he has co-authored several large economic models including BARRIE & i-STAR. |
